I have no problems in switching the airplane modes manually by clicking it on the screen but when I try it to toggle the airplane mode on and off through keyboard, there's no response… It seems as if I have pressed nothing.

Here is a solution that is suppose to work
Just enable utility.exe feature of energy manager and restart your computer… It worked for me. If utility manager is not running go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\Energy Manager\utility manager.exe and run it… Everything will work fine…

Many thanks to Mr asirfranklin; for its help. For solve this problem just install correct version of "Energy Manager" your lenovo and then be sure utility manager.exe run with startup of windows. Its just work on Win 8, 8.1, 10 (32 & 64 Bit).
