Can I use CCleaner to perform a full factory reset?

When I open up CCleaner, there's a tools bar, I click that and then I click Drive Wiper. Under the "Wipe" section it gives me two options it says "Free Space Only" and Entire Drive ( All data will be erased ). I want to know if this is a full factory reset. In another part of it, it says Security: It says Simple Overwrite (1 pass), Advanced Overwrite (3 passes), Complex Overwrite (7 passes)
and Very Complex Overwrite (35 passes). I want to know what they mean and how they work! If I can use CCleaner to run a factory reset please tell me step by step how to. Btw I have a Lenovo T420 Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit!

No, this will not do a factory reset it will only wipe the drive clean. In other words the drive will be empty just like you bought a new hard drive and installed it.
The security section is talking about deleting cookies, history, temporary internet files, etc. It has nothing to do with the Drive Wipe. It is just a way to overwrite these items more than normal which is just once. Unless you have some really important data that you do not wish to ever be recovered the default simple 1 wipe is sufficient. To do a factory reinstall you will need the original installation disk or a factory restore disk or a restore disk you created when you bought the computer. Some computers come with a factory restore partition on the hard drive. Consult the manufacture for what you need to do.

I think its not possible for that.
