I have a lenovo s10-3t netbook in my shop that i need to run a repair cd from the usb but i can't change the boot order because i get a bios password box and the client didn't set one up, i have tried removing the cmos battery for hours but its still there and i tried the phoenix backdoor passwords with no luck. Does anyone know how to get past this or do i tell the client to toss it and buy a new one?
Can't get past phoenix bios password?

It sounds like you've done everything that could be done except replacing the bios chip if it can be replaced on that machine. One other possibility, maybe if you remove the hard drive it will boot from usb. You could put the hard drive in a usb enclosure and plug it in after booting.
