I built a desktop with a gtx 770 and it plays every game i throw at it at +60 fps at ultra settings. However, when a cutscene happens ( like in metro last light) it is very low quality and has black lines at the top and bottom of my 5 year old hp 24inch 1920x1200 monitor. I connected my lenovo ideapad y510p too and the same thing happened. Is this because of the screen? Is it because of thhe soze? Or tge resolution of the screen? Or something else?
Low res prerendered cutscenes in games?

You have a very good GPU so some where there's a problem. Have you made sure all drivers are up to date for a start?
