I bought a Wii/PS3 VGA HDTV AV Cable to connect my Wii to my Lenovo ThinkVision L193P extra computer monitor through the VGA port, but connecting them gives me the error "input signal out of range" on the monitor. I know this means the monitor can't read the output from the Wii, but how do I fix this?
Input Signal Out of Range - connecting Wii to Lenovo Monitor?

You don't use a cable like that. The Wii simply does not make a VGA compatible signal to use such a cable.
You need a converter box that will convert the resolution and video signal from the Wii to VGA for the monitor.

I bought the same type of cable. Could you precise what type of converter box would be required for putting that on said monitor?
