Is macbook air worthless?

Yesterday i bought macbook air 2014 after working with windows for decades! Before i worked with friends macbooks for minutes not a a long use and i was like wow after working with it but. I use idevices for 6 years and this is my first experience with a pc which based on mac not windows.
After many hours working with it everthing become frustrating to me! Applications and os is so confusing. All the keys are different and i don't know any shortcut. I found many helps on the net but it is ridculosly different from windows and despite of intersting visuals! It is very hard to use and not user frindly
I think its mouse is not good even and make tip of tongue tired after a while the only thing that is nice in this device is its design and build quality and nothing else. Even the lcd is pixelated and all pixels are visible due to its low resolution despite of its expensive price!

So what do you think about it? Cause I probably return it to best buy in following weeks

Anything new and different will require some learning. I bet you would have the same feeling if you were switching from Mac to Windows. If you think Mac is not user friendly, wait until you try Linux w/o GUI. I'm using Windows & Linux BTW.

There's a learning curve for sure. My setup is a custom built PC, a Lenovo ThinkPad Helix, and a 15'' Retina display MacBook Pro (late 2013). OS X is more similar to Windows in terms of the basic functionality than many people give it credit for though. For instance copy/paste/cut are the same with the caveat of using Command C, Command V, etc… Instead of control. Also instead of Alt-Tab to switch windows, you can Command-Tab. The settings (the gear icon) on a Mac is basically the control panel, the dock is your quick launch on the taskbar, and the Apple bar up top is just like the File bar in Windows applications, it just stays there all the time and adds options to itself when needed for something specific.

Why did you buy a mac if you need to use windows? You can use bootcamp to install windows on this computer for those needs, but if it too frustrating for you, return it. You can learn the OS, or just buy a lenovo yoga or something else if you need that. Hope I helped!

What type of computers have you been using? The display on the macbook air, though not the highest resolution available, is still better than most. I actually just bought one yesterday, to go with my MacBook Pro. You may need to make some configuration adjustments to the trackpad settings, such as tap to click so you don't have to physically press the trackpad down. The battery life is also excellent. It won't be the most powerful computer you can get, but no ultra book will be at this time. If you are unhappy with the specs, you should return it for a MacBook Pro with Retina display. I was looking for the lightest and thinnest Mac i could get with the best battery life. So far, I'm happy.
