A good laptop for gaming?

So I'm trying to get a new laptop for gaming. I'm pretty mobile so I have a laptop to play in places that I wouldn't be able to set up a desktop.
I'd like your recommendations based on the following criteria:

My price range is from $700-$1000. I can do $1100 if I really try.

I need it to have the following:

1. At LEAST a 1 TB hard drive.

2. Be able to run GTA V in decent quality. When I say decent, I mean with little to no lag. Doesn't need to be in top notch, highest quality.

3. PREFERABLY one with a disk drive. I know disk drives are becoming less common, but I'd like it all the same.
HOWEVER. If your suggestion doesn't have one, it isn't a deal breaker.

4. PREFERABLY a laptop which is NOT called a "Gaming" laptop.
Try to aim for one that might be described as a "high performance" laptop, rather than a "gaming" laptop.
I know this is a weird condition.
But again, this is NOT a deal breaker.

5. PREFERABLY a laptop that has Windows 10, but I don't mind Windows 8.1.

I have a few ideas so far if you guys would be willing to comment on them.

Added (1). Other than any recommended models you guys might suggest, which of the two laptops that I suggested would be better?
I'm leaning towards the Dell.

Added (2). And please include a SPECIFIC MODEL NAME.
Don't just say "I'd recommend you get an HP" and just walk off.
A specific model or a link would be great.

For that price range, you're looking at a gaming PC, not Laptop. Sorry, but high end laptops cost in the 2thousand dollar range.

I use the MSI G Series GT70. Phenomenal laptop. Yes, I get it, it's a "gaming laptop," but when you're looking for a high-performance laptop, you're mainly going to get workstation laptops, which aren't specifically designed for gaming. The MSI G Series GT70 has a 1 TB HDD at 7200 rpm, as requested, an Intel Core-i7 4700Q processor which can turbo up to 3.4 GHz, a disk drive, and a massive 17.3" screen. I use it all the time for demanding games such as GTA V, and it performs beyond expectations. The graphics card is a GTX 770M, which is a bit old, but it's still a very powerful card.

First of "gaming laptops" usually have high performance parts in them so technically, you do want a gaming laptop. Doesn't really matter if you use it for gaming or not as it has high end hardware which comes in handy.

Next if you want to be able to play games for longer I would recommend you go for at least a 965M GPU. As it will be able to run the games smoother and its still within your budget.

Both of the laptops you listed are very similar. Both would be a good choice. For a full list of laptops that are within your budget check out the source link. Plenty of laptops to choose from.

There's a great site for laptops called newegg, it has about a million different filters so you can get exactly what you want, it also has filters for some of the more advanced specs that other sites don't have
