Are the Z series Lenovo laptops good for gaming?

I wouldnt buy a laptop for gaming… The best one on the market today is going to be useless in a couple years… Desktop for gaming is the way to go

400-700$- Can get you a decent gaming desktop, even better when custom made, my brother snagged a quad i5 8gb ram and led rigged monitor for 400, because it was custom made shop sold it cheap, but it's a risk because whoever made it coulda messed up a few bits
1000$ can get you a decent hp laptop but you need to realize a gaming laptop will likely last you a couple of years at most before performance drops and overall system deterioration kicks in however 1000 can get you a fancy new water cooled gaming cube that's compact and will last much more than two years(custom)
2000$ you gotta be joking right? Your choice is an extremely high quality custom desktop, max graphics CPU extreme storage overclocking capabilities, an apple laptop(lol just kidding), Alienware although I don't like their products, or a discount buy high quality laptop(ya just gotta search the internet wait for Black Friday where they slash a 3000 state of the art half inch laptop to 2300 prolly)
