Since the GTX 860M is based on low power GTX 750ti, as Maxwell technology, it is a low power graphics card even with its high performance. CPUs in gaming do not need to run at full, so I expect heat to be reasonably controlled. Of course, any DVDRW or Bluray would be a purchased USB external one.
