Can I completely dim my Lenovo laptop screen?

I recently purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad L540 (WIN 8) and am curious as to if it is possible to dim the screen lower than what it goes to when I press the buttons to adjust the screen brightness. I looked through apps and couldn't find anything. Could there be a settings menu that I'm not able to find?

I took his advice and installed it too, and yes, it does make a difference

it automatically dims at night, but you can adjust the time when it dims and how much it dims
