Does my laptop supports 1600 RAMs?

So I have learned from a pc diagnostic freeware called CPU-Z that I have a stick of 2gb ddr3 sodimm PC3-12800/1600 RAM.
But when I ran task manager>Performance>Memory, it says there that the speed is only 1333 MHz.
See the screen shots below:
I don't know what my laptop's motherboard is, but I'm using a Lenovo G40 on Windows 8.1 64bit. Thanks. Does my laptop supports 1600 RAMs Added (1). I'm not entirely sure, but I've read somewhere that when a motherboard does not supports 1600, it will just clock down the memory module to a MHz it supports. Is it true?
