Fujitsu LH531 vs HP Elitebook G4?

Mom is interested in HP Elitebook to replace the Fujitsu that she has complaint about being too heavy and the screen would show cyan(altering the color scheme, something to do with the wiring inside) in a particular angle.

She seems interested in the HP laptop that she found and is willing to pay in installments. She wants a light laptop, doesn't lag, and has good battery life. The specs given has too little info so I can't say if it's good or better than hers.

I'm actually kind of against her idea since she can just borrow my laptop: Lenovo Flex 2-14 but she s determined to buy this one. I want to avoid a financial mistake as much as possible so I need your inputs if the HP laptop is worth the investment.

HP don't have a great reputation amongst laptops but if she wants to buy an HP G4 you will have to be more specific - there are at least 12 different types of Elitebook G4
However if you want a fast machine then as a general rule of thumb
8GB memory or more
500GB SSD/NVMe drive or greater
avoid models with a standard SATA mechanical hard drive
A screen resolution of 1920x1028 or better
A processor intel i5 or i7

The biggest mistake is to go for the cheaper models with a standard mechanical hard drive. This will slow down the machine considerably
