Gaming Laptop: Lenovo or Acer?

I'm having a hard time deciding between two gaming laptops, both with awesome pricetags of less than $1900 (where I live)

Should I get the Lenovo Y510P, or the Acer Aspire V3-772G?

I'm gonna be gaming, livestreaming, animating & rendering, and also using it for school.

I've owned an Acer, and that lasted 6 years and is still working fine, which really impresses me. The Lenovo however seems to have A LOT of issues and customer complaints, even a simple google search revealed many people having many problems with it (though it may not happen to me)

Both PCs have 16GB ram, intel I7, Nvidia graphics, but the Lenovo comes with an SLI… So which is better to get, and is SSD important?

Y510p would be better, but a custom laptop from clevo or a smaller vendor would be best.

I own an acer. Same model its great for all of those things i would buy it

SSD is boosts your pc A TON. BUT it only works well when it is less that half full in most cases. Acer is a much better liked brand when it comes to Gaming. Lenovo is more of a utility brand. BUT if you spending almost 2000 on a gaming laptop you may want to look at custom laptop builders like xotic, powerpc or any other brands. Most also offer 30 day full refund policies so you can try before you commit.
