How do I repair a Lenovo laptop with a 1year warranty?

And is it for free? I have a levovo laptop that i bought from a local store and they said they won't repair it but they said to contact Lenovo, so if i do get a repair within the 1year warranty, is it for free and do i have to ship it back and wait, how long would it take? I only have 1 laptop. So ifi ship it back then i'll have nothing to use.

Added (1). I can't find the physical Lenovo store. This laptop i bought, has a short cord and i have tripped over it several times, also when i first bought the laptop, it has poor signal/ Wi-Fi connection, there's only internet signal at certain places in my home, other people who have a laptop don't have this issue, so i know its this laptop. There's hardly any visible damage but when i open the laptop, i can hear a crack on the right hinge, and I'm worried if it'll eventually break or crack.

Call their customer service number. Often they'll just ship you a new one, and you wrap up the old one in the same box and ship it back.

Your laptop warranty will have come with some documentation detailing any claim procedures. If a claim is approved the repair will be free and then Lenovo should arrange collection, delivery and provide a transport box if you haven't the original. The standard 1 year warranty does not normally cover a replacement laptop.
No one apart from Lenovo can advise how long it will take

Yes, It is free in warranty Period. Any kinds of repair need, the vendor provide you free, if your laptop have major issu like motherboard problem, yes they can take time to repair your laptop.

You post… I have tripped over it several times.( meaning it hit the floor several times )… You post… I can hear a crack on the right hinge ( sounds like… Broken )…

Good luck with Lenovo… The warranty only cover defects… Not damage caused by you… Oh and your Wi-Fi… It works, so don't even consider that…
