So I have Lenovo laptop. I have had it for a year. Ever since I changed my windows to windows 10 it wasn't good and it was lagging. So I decided to return my laptop to factory settings. And I have choosen the one which cleans everything and it said it could last for sveral hours until its done. But since I pressed that the screen said restarting. And it went black but the laptop was still working. Since then almost 24 hours passed and its still working with the black screen. What should I do? Is it normal?
How long is it going to reset itself?

Probably not normal. Get in touch with Lenovo and/or Micro$oft--might have some information.

When you updated to 10, M$ deleted the recovery partition to force you to stay with 10. Your system is locked up because it could not find the recovery program. You are going to have to get the recovery DVD from Lenovo or buy a DVD from a online retailer. Got to love Windows 10 and M$, they really know how to ruin a good OS and them make it look like people just love it.
If you had Windows 8.1 you can use the link below to go back. You need to back up everything up and make sure you have a good product key on the bottom of the lappy. I do suggest that you download all your drivers before attempting this.

If you had Windows 7 then posts the make and model and I'll see if it can be done. We have had a lot of success so far getting people back to 7 if you are willing to do the work.
Make sure when you go back that you DO NOT let these updates in. M$ is now hard coding spyware ( back door ) into Windows 7 and 8. Look for these updates and see if you have them. KB 3068708 KB 3022345 KB 3075249 KB 3080149 These updates give 7 and 8 the same spying capability as 10 has.

No! The reset takes 1 hour maybe 3 if you use the secure erase pull the battery and power out
And attempt to restart it if it starts good if not you will have to take it to someone who knows how to reinstall windows.
