Two of my friends recommended me these two for a laptop, I don't which one to choose. I'm taking 3D and 2D animation and I need a Laptop that is capable of making 3D models for animation and gaming. I also need it to run 3d games like gmod or Tf2 well, but I don't need it to run real details games like gta 5 or Skyrim.
HP Pavilion or Lenovo Yoga?

I wouldn't go for the yoga if you're looking for graphics processing. As for the HP Pavilions, which model are you looking at? Hopefully at least one that has a dedicated graphics card. I would highly recommend one with, as without it, you'll probably last a year maybe two on the "current" intel iris pros. You mentioned you game as well, then you definitely need that extra gpu power, and the yoga will definitely not be able to provide that. Have you looked at Dell laptops? The XPS 15 is a pretty cost efficient one. Or even Acer R14, which is a really good budget friendly machine. There are other choices out there, but most importantly if it doesn't have a dedicated gpu, you might as well buy a chromebook that'll process 3D models faster
