I Can't CONNECT TO Wi-Fi WITH WINDOWS 8.1?

Yesterday I found out my Wi-Fi would disconnect and connect every 15 minutes or so. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting my Wi-Fi, and resetting my router, then restarted my computer. But for some reason things got worse, and I was disconnecting every minute. I spent over an hour trying to find solutions, and gave up. All the other electronics in my home has no problem with the Wi-Fi. And my computer was fine connecting to Wi-Fi when I went out.
But when I came back home today, my computer can't even connect to Wi-Fi anymore. I have to directly connect to my router for internet to work.
It's been 2 hours, and I'm close to giving up. I'm fairly sure it's not a problem with my router, but windows 8.1 itself. I'm finding a LOT of people online is having Wi-Fi issues after the update. I've only had my computer for a month, and everything was fine. So wtf is up with this?

If I can't fix this, I'll have to return this computer (I have a Lenovo Flex Ideapad 15).

Can someone Please help.
I've tried:
Resetting my router and computer.
Troubleshooting my network and my Wi-Fi
Fixing IP address
Updating my drivers
Uninstalling and updating my drivers
Checking Windows and Lenovo help centres

You may be using a Wi-Fi channel that is very busy. Get out the manual for your router and change the channel.

Do you have a network cable to connect to your laptop and your router just to check if you can reach the internet that way? Just to make sure you did not change any router settings and that your laptop still connects okay via a network cable.

Also, check your Start > Control Panel > Device Manager > Network Adapters (double click) and check to see you have the correct network adapter driver installed and if it needs updating here. You can also remove the driver here and reboot, and it should re-install the driver, then try again.

Hi, internet explorer 8.1 is having troubles right now but good news is on the arisen Microsoft is going to release a download and this is suppose to remove all of these problems. Or so they say I'm advance in computer repair and tech support and I worked for two days and that is eight hours each day before I told him I would just stick with internet explorer 8.0 so when it came out they had problems and I have lost faith in 8.1 so I recommend you remove 8.1 and go back to 8.0. It is better for your computer and when Microsoft gets the kinks out of 8.1 then go back to it they will announce it when they have it fixed.

Unistall the drivers and restart the PC. It should configure itself. If that does not work, then return it
