I'm thinking of buying a gaming laptop but?

Don't have that much money is there a good spec laptop that can run some of the best games for £500 or under or what's the cheapest decent laptop out now for gaming?

If you're going for cheap and you don't mind Asian brands you can actually try Lenovo or MSI. I'm using an upgraded MSI for gaming and designing and programming it's doing fine

To be honest I think most branded gaming laptops like Alienware are just highly overpriced. Many other companies are overtaking the oldies now.

Samsung isn't too bad for light gaming, so is Sony.

Gaming laptops start at around $750 USD and go up quickly from there. The big problem with laptops is they are a static purchase meaning what you get when you purchase it is what you have for the life of the machine as things like the graphic card can't be upgraded down the road. For the money you would spend on a laptop you could get a much nicer desktop which would be upgradeable when you need to/want to.
