I want to buy a new laptop and i found this offer online, are the specs good for gaming and university?

I'm going to university soon and i'm kind of into gaming and watching movies on my laptop, so i was wondering if this laptop will be suitable, it's a Lenovo G5080 Laptop - Core i7 (5th Generation), 15.6", 500GB, 4GB, Win8.1
Do i need better specs or is this fine?
+ I'm not sure if it has those graphics card and gaming thing Specifications are not aimed at gaming.
The Lenovo G50-80 is an entry level laptop despite the dual core ultralow voltage i7.
They all have the same basic graphics processing as integrated HD 5500, which is approximately the same as HD 4600.

The latest laptop 5th generation was to lower power use by the cpu so that the laptops would run longer on the same battery or can use a smaller battery for lighter weight.

Instead of looking at core i designation, you need to determine graphics and central processor power.
That laptop is not great for the latest games, but OK for older as shown in the notebookcheck table. I'd shop around for one with at least 15gb of Ram and at least a 1tb hard disk - I find Lenovo quite flimsy and fussy so maybe look elsewhere. Win 10 Pro would be good It's an okay laptop. It probably doesn't have a graphics card but new intel processors have onboard graphics that can play any game out there. BUT there's a catch. You can only play them on low or medium settings.
