Can it run Watch Dogs on medium-high settings? Is it good for other games like Far cry 3? Can it run other games that come out later in the year?
Added (1). Also it uses windows 8.1 I've heard that it isn't as good as windows 7 for gaming. Will it be a problem? Or can i downgrade to windows 7?
It's a an amazing laptop for gaming purposes, with a 2 GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M Graphics Controller Model it will easily handle Watch Dogs and Far Cry 3 in medium and high graphics settings. You might have no problems at all playing the newer games in subsequent year and a half or so, even then the games could be run on medium settings if they have too much graphical requirement in the subsequent years as the gaming graphics are sure to improve. It heats a little bit, so keep that in mind while buying it, as it might effect the life of the hardware components in the laptop.

Yes, it will definitely be able to handle both those games on high settings, but only when it's plugged in. The ideapad has 2 graphics cards but it only uses one of them unless it's plugged in. It's a great gaming laptop, highly recommended.
