Dell Inspiron, HP Pavilion, Lenovo Essential, and all Acer are about the same in quality and reliability as the lower end.
Lenovo Ideapad rates a little better.

So, the CPU is faster. Graphics is GT 740M

and is about 11% lower than a GT 840M.
and at 45445 Rs with an i5-3230M which is also faster than an i5-4210U:

When looking at an HP of comparable specs and pricing, and Lenovo Ideapads with faster CPUs but 11% lower in graphics, the only advantage to buying at Dell is the 1x4GB RAM, that you expect to buy another 1x4GB to bring it to 8GB. The 1x4GB performs 8% below a 2x2GB RAM as running single channel rather than dual channel.
Here is a Dell from a weak seller

with an HD 8850M instead of GT 840M with other slight differences.
The HD 8850M is stronger than a GT 840M

Bottom line, there are OTHER Deals available comparable to the Dell deal but better or worse is a judgement. This is after reviewing about 70 laptops or so for specs.
If I had to choose brand, I would go a Lenovo Ideapad over a Dell Inspiron.
If battery life is not as important as CPU performance, the i5-4200M is a real i5 instead of an underclocked low voltage one. The GT 840M is a slight improvement over the 740M and I don't consider that as an important factor.
"Better" in the price range - Only as a matter of opinions. Clearly, comparable in the price range as a choice to make, and it takes careful research in India to actually get all the specifications of a laptop.
