To start off, laptops for gaming other than like DoTA or TF2 is sort f frowned upon because of how hot they get and could cause potential damage to your jeans, desk or even the components. If you think you could cool it adequetly, go for it. Good amount of ram, the GDDR memory is good so it can handle lots of particle effects and so on which you need for high graphics settings. Haswell is a pretty god CPUbut I'm not sure about the GPU itself. But seeing as its a *50 it is low range for gaming, but the 7** series are very up to date. I would not expect it to run Skyrim high, but you could probably upgrade it. But looking at the price and specs i'd say go for it.
It's a good laptop as far as laptops go.
