Laptop Won't Initialize Login Screen Sometimes?

I have this laptop: Lenovo Thinkpad W540 Laptop, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, FHD,32GB,512GB SSD, Nvidia

Sometimes when I restart my computer the login screen doesn't initialize. I have done some weird things to get it to work.

I restart, un-plug everything (headphones, mouse, etc.) and it will initialize it, but with them in, it won't. What's up? I have a 3 year warranty, so should I use it?

Use your 3 year warrenty or could try this… A sfc scan will scan for system corrupt or missing files and fix them. Bring up Command Prompt and type in sfc /scannow [ gap between c and / ] and press enter on keyboard and let scan run. Will tell you at end if fixed anything.
