Lenovo G410 good for hardcore gaming?

That will indeed play games, but you'd need to have all the graphic settings at minimum levels. The CPU is acceptable, but dual-cores are becoming obsolete for gaming. And the graphics is far too weak. The HD 4600 only gets 648 points on Passmark benchmarking site while video cards that can do hardcore gaming score 2000 points and better. I have a pair of GTX 670's which score (individually) 5380 points. So, unless you can drop a nice video card in there, no, that isn't a "hardcore" gamer. If you upgrade the system RAM and the CPU, it would make gaming slightly better, but the best thing that can be done is to drop a graphics card into it.
