Macbook Pro or Lenovo PC?

I'm looking to buy one of these laptops (links below) and I've saved up enough to buy either laptop. On the laptop, I'll be websurfing, watching YouTube, word processing, Spotify, and light gaming (League of Legends mostly). They're two very different laptops, but I like them both in their own way, so I really can't decide for myself.

http://shop.lenovo.com/...ies/y410p/ (the $869.00 one) or http://store.apple.com/...acbook-pro (the base model Retina display).

I would suggest a Lenovo G500/G500s(touch screen)/G700s(depends on availability) or a Macbook Air.

I'd say your choice depends on how you use your laptop.
If you use it like point a-to-b, use it mainly stationary but need something portable & powerful to take with you, I'd recommend the Lenovo. 5 hrs is good enough battery. A better value for your needs

If you use it like point c, and use it mostly not stationary(like on an airplane), I'd recommend the Mac. The 9hr battery life meets your needs.

If you want something in the middle the Lenovo Ideapad U430 is great

Recommended Programs for Windows 8
Classic Shell-Gets rid of Metro & replaces it with a Windows start button
Avast-Free Antivirus, gets the job done
Avira-Free antivirus, good secondary

Apple all way proud owner of iPad mini, iphone 5 & iPod touch!

Lenovo all the way! Millions more programs available.

Never buy Apple products. They are made by child slaves, they cost more than they are worth (which is why Apple has over $1 trillion it doesn't know what to do with), and you become a cult member hated by all. You may also develop cancer like Steve Jobs and end up dead because you tried "natural" cures instead of those that work. You also will need to start eating grass from co-ops and hang out with people who detest soap.

I would go with the one that is faster. Appetence is good but like they all say you can't judge a book by it's cover if league of legends needs adobe then get the Lenovo. But if you like siri and better spellcheck, then the mac pro. Also one more thing the pro is easier to use.

The MacBook Pero a thousand times.
