I have a Lenovo S210 Touch and every time I try to turn it on, it'll turn on for a few seconds to a few minutes and then just shut down completely, I also think that when I close the lid, it turns on, but when I open the lid, it turns off. I think it may be an shorted circuit, but I have no idea how to fix a laptop, or what the parts of a laptop are, and my parents won't take it to get it fixed, because they're lazy and procrastinators and they also think that I'm just an idiot and that I'm probably pressing the wrong button. Is there any way to fix this by myself with only a screwdriver, or some other basic, very basic tool?

You could fix it but its finding out what's wrong with it. If its over heating then it will turn off and that means the fan is broke. And if the laptop is on when its closed then you have a screen problem. All you have to do is find the problem and youtube it and there you are its fixed. Look around for problems like this so you can find out what's wrong with it. Hope it helped
