My Lenovo laptop won't stay connected to the internet?

I have a Lenovo G500 with Windows 8. My laptop would stay connected to the internet for 10 minutes or so but would drop connection frequently for up to 20 minutes. I have changed my static IP address to a dynamic one but yet no change.

When I run troubleshoot it may fix the problem but the problems would reoccur or the problems would go away on their own and reconnect to the internet on its own.

When I run troubleshoot these are the most common things it comes up with (in order) are:

1.Default gateway is not available.
2. Ethernet cable may be broken or unplugged.
3. A network cable may be broken or unplugged.
4. Wi-Fi does not have valid IP
5. Windows can't connect to hidden network.

All Laptops are Limited Access by default for the wireless connections and you need to make it a permanent connection. Open network connections, ope the properties of the wireless and check enable. Close the menus and reboot the computer. The connection will be permanent and not the default Limited Access connection. You can't trouble shoot something that is not the problem.
