No dialogue sound in far cry 3 and 4. Please solve?

Playing far cry 3 and 4 in my laptop but i'm unable to hear dialogue sound during gameplay.
Video sequence in between game is audible. I tried everything from disabling my dolby sound system to using the lowest bit depth and sample rate. Still no sound.
I'm using Lenovo flex 2-14. Have inbuilt left and right speaker (no centre). Realtek and dolby present.

Curious… Putting all your sound card / dolby settings back to deafult… Then play an iTunes song… How does it sound? Then go to youtube.play a youtube… How does it sound? If you have a music cd.pop it in play it… How does it sound?

I ask this as a process of elimination… If all these other things play and sound really good… It's not your sound card or dolby settings… It's the game.

Here's the review for those speakers.

… The speakers of the Flex 2 14 are underneath the front edge of the notebook. You can select different profiles for the sound with the Dolby Digital Plus software or use an equalizer to adjust the sound to your own preferences.

All in all, the speakers are not too bad and actually sound a bit better compared to the IdeaPad Flex 14: The maximum volume is still pretty high, but there are no distortions.

""The speakers have a hard time creating a really differentiated sound with very rich pieces (singer, orchestra and choir)"", but you can still hear the individual instruments and the voices, which is not a matter of course for every notebook. The high tones are too rich and there's hardly any bass, but the overall sound is pretty balanced.

Music and movie enthusiasts are certainly going to use external speakers or single jack headphones for the long term, but the fact that there's only one stereo jack could be an issue ( headphones with two jacks will not do )…

So have you tried headphones? If so… How does the game sound ( again removing the laptop as a problem and pointing to the game itself )…

Also have you gone to lenovo and looked to see if their is an undated sound card driver ( keeping in mind win 7 driver… Win 8 driver )…

Here's a google page page… Seems far cry has had sound problems going back several years.

Here's a far cry page with states exactly what you say your problem is… Scroll down to zbobg… That might be your answer…
