My laptop fan is on side but on bottom there are like two lines of little holes i don't know what these do, i'm asking because i tend to use laptop in my lap sometimes so i'm blocking them i use lenovo g710

Its not a good idea to use laptop on your lap, if possible use a tray on your lap and then the laptop on that
