What is the little red thing in the middle of the keyboard in Lenovo ThinkPad laptops called?

My rabbit ate mine and I have been looking online for another one but I don't know what it is called and it is just so frustrating!

The generic term is "pointing stick".

IBM/Lenovo use the branded name: "TrackPoint".

It's called a trackpoint, the red thing itself is a trackpoint cap.
