Your specs are wrong, all Intel i5 mobile CPU have 3MB of cache, desktop i5 have 6MB. Maybe you should consider i7 mobile, which do have 6MB.
Anyway, the CPU speed difference will not be that noticeable (unless you're doing CPU intensive tasks).
If you want that laptop for gaming, you should get a desktop instead, their graphics cards are vastly superior to laptop GPUs.
