Need specific specs. Just saying that it has an i3 procecor isn't going to help. What are the built in graphics. How much ram and what is the speed of the ram.

Newer games are only going to run smoothly with a laptop with a dedicated GPU. An integrated GPU is designed to be low power and isn't near as fast.

Now if you look up a game you like on Game Debate, they give recommended specs. For example:

Age of Wonders 3 asks for a GTS 8800 minimum. It gets a benchmark score of 616. That means the laptop would not be able to run it.

Minimum requirements barely run the game. They actually recommend a card that has a score of 2000 to run smoothly.
