Which is good laptop for everyday use? Hp, Lenovo or Asus?

We've had reliable service from Acer laptops over the past 20 years and they're generally a bit cheaper than the HP or Asus ones. [I won't touch Lenovo laptops -- IBM sold its product line to Chinese firm Lenovo some years ago and I fear the Chinese have been cutting corners on product quality ever since. Cutting corners is rife in other Chinese lines of business -- I see no reason why Lenovo should be different.]

Depends on more than just the brand. The model does as well, perhaps more.
