Which Is The Better Gaming Laptop (Dell / Lenovo)?

It is between the Lenovo Y720 & Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Laptop.

Keep in mind, I'm in College as a programmer.

BOTH cost the same right now because of sales.
I will be using this as my primary gaming machine when at home and work while at school.
I will be running things such Dolphin Emulator, Creating Apps, etc.
What do you think is the better option.

All my Dell computers run fine, even the very old ones. The only Lenovo that I got (G555) had 3 video chip detachments from heat. That's a common problem. Put in a new motherboard and used forced air cooling on it and other laptops this summer.
