Which laptop should I buy for school?

The past two laptops I've bough were Asus and they lasted me less than two years each. I'm looking for something light enough to bring to class, but powerful enough for all my needs. I basically just use Word, Excel, I watch a lot of movies and netflix, and a lot of internet usage. I don't think I need a mac computer, it just seems unnecessary. I'm fairly clumsy, so I need a laptop that won't break easily. Price is not a big deal, but I'm looking for something under $800.

Any suggestions?

I agree, the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 is a nice choice, but for a budget you could also consider the HP Touchsmart 11z. It's lower cost, but still provides a nice display for watching movies, and speakers that aren't so bad for streaming and music. Check out my recent article on the top 5 along with price points!

Here are the best ones (in order) along with the prices:

1. Apple MacBook Air 13-Inch 2013 - £949 ($1588)

2. Samsung Ativ Book 9 Lite - £599 ($1002)

3. ASUS X550CA-XO113H Laptop - £329 ($550)

If you are looking for some cheaper options and don't need much software on your laptop then a good one would be:
* Toshiba Chromebook £349 ($584)

What's so special about this is that it is very simple to use and everything is done on the cloud. So basically your OS is your web browser.

All the best.

Macbook Air is really good that's what I use and it is worth the money
