I just barely got a new laptop ideapad y510p and it came with mcafee and I thought it might be a better idea to et bitdefender another antivirus software because I had read a lot of good things about it but I was almost ready to replace mcafee with it and I decided I didn't want to risk anything and so I cancelled the download at the final step now everytime I log on to my computer the first thing that comes up is bitdefender trying to download how do I get it to go away or should I just replace mcafee with it

The next time it comes up, allow the download to complete then kill that tab that is on that page. Leaving the browser running. You probably have your browser set to resume the last session which is why this keeps happening.
You can let it install all the way and then uninstall it, however, BitDefender is much better than McAfee so if you have a BitDefender license then you should definitely use it and uninstall McAfee.
