No, a laptop will never run the latest games, the components are too enclosed and will result in over-heating very quickly.

You can add an extra graphics card, if necessary,
or an extra fan. Check the manual, under Ultrabay (modular expansion system)

Any Intel laptop without a dedicated graphics card will not run games well at all. Even the older ones. The integrated Intel 3000 HD graphics suck. I would get a AMD A-Series chip at the very least. The integrated GPU out performs the Intel HD 3000 graphics by about 3 fold. The newest A-10 chips can run most newer games at medium to high settings. I had an older A6-3400 running at only 1.6 GHZ, but could run games like call of duty, NBA 2k12, MKB 2k12 just fine.
