I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop but I have a budget of about £500-£550. This one looks good to me www.johnlewis.com/lenovo-g70-laptop-inte… The one thing I'm worried about is the graphics card. I want to play games like minecraft, skyrim and counter strike on medium or high settings. The laptop has 8gb RAM, an i5 processor and intel HD 4000 graphics. Is it good enough?
Will this laptop be good for gaming?

It is a great computer at a great price. It will play most games but if your looking for something that will play newer(last couple years) that have a lot of action this won't work

It will work but is less optimal than the computer that I'm using to type this, which is 3 years old. The i5 is only 1.7 GHz (turbo to 2.7 GHz), the graphics are integrated, and the hard drive is not SSD or even 7200 RPM but 5400 RPM. That being said, those specs are optimal for games such as Minecraft on high settings, but you will be in the medium-low settings when working with higher-rendering games with more details such as those you mentioned.
