Hi, so I've had my Lenovo K450E with an i5 processor for about 5 months now and it said there was a windows update that needed to be installed. This was about the 3rd time I've seen this and it worked before so I decided to Update and Restart. However, upon doing so, I was confronted with the "BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO" screen. I allowed it try and restart twice, and on the second try, it offered to let me Restore System. I did so, but now it's just stuck on a black screen that says "Lenovo" across it. There's no wheel spinning or anything, it's just frozen. I haven't downloaded anything recently on it so the fact that this happened out of the blue is very frustrating. I don't have a Windows Media disk or anything and I can't seem to restart it using the power button. I'm at a loss and have no idea what to do. Any help is appreciated!
Lenovo crashed, won't start back up?

Before you did a system restore, had you googled on the problem?
I'm guessing you have windows 8… In a way that's too bad, as if it were win7, you could get a win7 ISO from microsoft's digital river server http://answers.microsoft.com/...8486a46ebf
so with win8, you could try
