I've been here for an hour trying to do this. I have my Lenovo h50 PC plugged in to the mains and am using an HDMI to connect it to my HP Pavilion 22cw monitor, however it only seems to briefly show the Lenovo logo before the screen goes black and stays like that. Am I doing something wrong? Are they not compatible?

I've had the same issue with a Asus laptop hooking up to a 42 tv. It ended up being the cheap, poorly made HDMI cable.

HP Monitor Customers service website below click on it if it don't work then copy and past it into the web address bar.
