Linux Ubuntu: Wi-Fi is disabled by hardware switch?

I have a Lenovo Z370 and it has a hardware Wi-Fi switch, and it's turned on for sure. But Ubuntu still says that the hardware switch is turned off, any help? Even the Fn + Wi-Fi button doesn't work.

Google the Ubuntu forums for solutions - it seems to be an old problem. Which Ubuntu do you have? I would be surprised if a prob this old was not already fixed long ago.
