Please Check this PC Configuration?

I want to buy a very cheap PC for basic use.

Is it OK to buy?

The 2GB RAM will definitely slow it down a lot. The CPU is decent enough for what you're doing, but you should definitely get something with 4GB RAM instead.

You can also type "msinfo32.exe" into the Start menu's search box and press "Enter" to view the same information. You can also click the Start button, right-click "Computer" and then click "Properties" to see your operating system, processor model, computer make and model, processor type and RAM specifications.

Not enough RAM You need a minimum of 4GB.

Second hand you could buy a pc with that specification for about £40 (Monitor I would never buy second hand)

The question is, what are you paying for it?

I don't think you're going to get a 3 year warranty on a computer from 2009.
It's not worth more than $100-150 usd, so hopefully the price isn't too high.

You would have to upgrade the RAM for sure. Even 4gb is enough for what you're doing but even that cuts it close. There are upgrades you can make that would make the PC run excellent.

The old integrated graphics would have trouble with the Youtube videos so you would end up having to put a low end graphics card into it, on top of dealing with the RAM. You can make it boot quicker with a SSD. The CPU is fine but it could stand to be upgraded to a quad-core.

Don't pay too much for it.

What operating system and what country?
The chipset of the motherboard was released in 2008
The CPU was January 2009
The computer is 8 years old now.
E7500 speed score is 1876 and you can compare to other CPUs

2GB RAM is insufficient for Windows 7.
In the USA, a slightly faster cpu, 4gb ram, 80gb ssd with Windows 10 Pro 64 sells for US$67

The specifications are so weak, can you do any better, or maybe a used laptop?

You left out the most important spec., HOW MUCH do they want for the old clunker? Anything over $50.00 US is too much.
