It's like it's not getting any signal from the ps3. I know the hdmi works because it connects to my TV. And the hdmi port is fine on the lenovo because I connect it to the TV screen too. How can I get the ps3 to connect to the lenovo?
I've tried searching in the control panel and computer search area for the ports and it gives me no option for it either.
I'm trying to connect my ps3 to a lenovo A720 via hdmi, but it gives me a blank screen?

Probably conflicting resolutions. What's your monitors resolution? The ps3 menu is 1080p by default, but if yout monitor can't see 1080p the screen won't show.
Of that's the case, you will have to plug the ps3 into a tv, go to video settings, and deselect all the resolutions your monitor doesn't support
