The FRU list under Lenovo's site suggests Intel i7-3720QM 2.6GHz 4MB 4c E1
PGAProcessor, but I can only find Intel Core i7 Mobile Ivy Bridge Processor i7-3720QM 2.6GHz 5.0GT/s 6MB Socket G2 CPU. Looks essentially the same besides the MB difference. Can I go ahead and purchases the latter?

There seems to be two basic different models of the i7-3720QM out there, being different sockets (PGA and BGA):

However, both are Ivy Bridge, and have the same specs, same cache, same bus speed. Both have same TDP, same turbo speed…
I suspect that first listing of 4MB is a mistake, both versions have 6MB cache.
