I have a Tablet (Lenovo Ideatab A2107A-H) and i want to connect it to a PC (Dell Optiplex GX520) using a USB cable, coz my parents aren't ready to buy a wireless router… I have broadband connection at home.
Can I connect to internet on my tablet through a pc using usb cable/usb tethering?
Try installing the softwares, this will turn your pc to Wi-Fi hotspot to connect wireless devices.
>connectify
>mhotspot
hope it helps
If it doesn't have an ethernet socket then it probably only has Wi-Fi, most don't allow direct connections through USB and if a cable was available it is unlikely any software exists to drive it, but there might be an app, your best bet is a router with wif if you don't already have one, you may need a modem router if your current ADSL connection doesn't have an ethernet connection
No its not possible, you would need Wi-Fi. Its only 5-10$ more a month
My answer would be the best solution for you. You just need to free download my Wi-Fi router software from this link, http://www.mywifirouter.me/. This software will turn your PC with wireless network adpater into hotspot just with a click. Then tablet can share internet.Very easy, isn't it?
