What's a good ultrabook to buy for around $1,000?

Lenovo YogaPad 2 13.
It has a nasty specs for around $1,000 dollar.

This isn't an ultrabook, but it can perform like an ultrabook IMO.
Surface Pro 2 (8GB RAM with 256GB SSD Model).

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon.
I hear it is the best ultrabook, but I'm not 100% sure.

Apple MacBook Air 13.
It is a really good ultrabook.

Apple MacBook Pro 13 Retina.
You got sort of a mix between a ultrabook or a laptop with high res.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe they use ULV CPU which is sort of like an ultrabook CPU.
