Can Oculus Rift run on my Computer?

So I would like to know if oculus rift could run on my pc, this is my pc specs in the picture. I've already run the application that checks if it is compatible but it says that my processor doesn't meet the requirments. I have an i7 1st gen and the minimum on the site is a newer i3 which is both very similar. Here is my Specifications:

Core i5 and i7 CPUs have 4 cores, while i3 CPUs only have 2… Core i7 CPUs have more Smart Cache than i5 CPUs, which in turn have more cache than i3 CPUs. Core i5 and i7 CPUs have the same graphics, although the speed of that graphics will depend on the individual

The i3 ( which is the bare bone minimum ) outperforms what you have by around 29%… ( that's a pretty big diff ).that's why your getting that message…

and your processor was released 8 years ago, the game was released 1 year ago…
