Can you run the oculus rift (DK2) on a Lenovo Legion Y520 gaming laptop?

I actually checked the specs. The gpu in that laptop is just barely over the newly downgraded OR minimum requirements. The cpu is fine as long as you're not running 17 other things [which would cause the cpu to throttle back because of thermal issues when all the cores are active].

If you already own the laptop, you'll probably find it acceptable. If you don't, I'd look for something with more gpu under the hood… Even though it is going to cost more
