My computer has been recently going into something like a sleep mode (the monitor goes black and gives the no signal message) without warning. It will do it while in use and the only way to get it back again is to restart the computer.
I have checked all the wires and nothing is loose, neither are any of the internal components. I know the monitor is ok as I've tested it on other computers and it works fine. I've also done a number of virus scans and found nothing.
Any suggestions as to fix the problem whould be greatly appreciated.
