I have had experience with system mechanic on my old dell computer and I thought it was a good program, it helped me fix a lot of issues with my computer. I recently bought a new Lenovo computer and I installed system mechanic right away. On the first scan about 8 different problems came up and it said my computer is in bad shape. How can this be? I don't understand how a brand new Lenovo computer can have so many problems on the first use. Is system mechanic just a scam? Does the program itself upon installation cause my computer to have these problems, creating the illusion that my computer is in bad shape so that I feel that I need system mechanic to keep my computer alive so that I keep buying it year after year? I wouldn't be surprised. I'm just speculating here, if anyone has some real information or advice I'd love to hear it.
How can system mechanic tell me my computer has numerous issues when the computer is brand new?

System Mechanic is unreliable at best. Personally, I consider it scamware and would never use it.

If you are paying for it, then it is a scam. I have never once encountered a "fix your computer" program that wasn't a complete rip off.
